Catalogue number: 007644

Goldfinger is the 1964 third instalment in the James Bond spy film series starring Sean Connery as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond. Based on the 1959 novel by Ian Fleming, Goldfinger was the first Bond blockbuster, with a high budget - equal to that of the two preceding films combined. It was the first Bond film to win an Oscar, opened to largely favourable critical reception and was a financial success, grossing over $120 million worldwide.

Auric Goldfinger has been crafted from the finest pale blonde mohair fabric and features yellow mohair arms and upper body to recreate his famous yellow sweater. He wears a cotton shirt insert with a brown block striped tie and a rust coloured wool flat cap for the perfect finishing touch. He also has an exciting windup musical box, developed exclusively for Steiff, that plays the Goldfinger theme music, the notes of which have been embroidered on his right foot paw, whilst the the '007' logo and 'Goldfinger' have been embroidered on his left foot paw.

This Goldfinger teddy bear is limited to only 3,000 pieces and comes with a numbered certificate in a special edition Steiff gift box with its original protective cardboard outer sleeve.
