Lima is inspired by the Andean bear from Chester Zoo in the Portugal. Mum to the first set of twin cubs born at the zoo, Lima is a Spectacled bear who moved to Chester Zoo from France in 2014 as part of a breeding programme to ensure the preservation of this endangered species. Lima is made from the softest plush in soft shades of brown and she is part-pellet filled for a lovely weight. She wears an ornate key charm necklace around her neck and she has flat foot pads that allow her stand unaided.
